{"id":439,"date":"2016-08-02T09:04:58","date_gmt":"2016-08-01T23:04:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wodenwandererscc.com\/wp\/?p=439"},"modified":"2025-10-13T16:13:37","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T05:13:37","slug":"message-to-all-woden-wanderers-players-and-potential-players","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wodenwandererscc.com\/wp\/?p=439","title":{"rendered":"Message to all Woden Wanderers Players and potential players 2016\/2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The new 2016\/2017 season will soon be upon us. <span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0 <\/span>The Wanderers would like to extend a welcome to our returning players.<span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0 <\/span>We would also like to extend a welcome to any players wishing to start a new cricket career or restart an old one, post kids, who live in the Woden\/Weston Creek area.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">The age is generally from about 14 to old.<span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0 <\/span>The teams cater for very good (1st grade) to considerate of age and skill, (6th grade).<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Woden Wanderers have been a club for over 15 years and generally field 2-4 teams per year.<span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/wodenwandererscc.com\/site3\/documents\/WWCC_Membership_Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Membership Application Form: <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/wodenwandererscc.com\/site3\/images\/doc.gif\" alt=\"Membership Form\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" align=\"absMiddle\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> If you are interested in joining us as a Playing or Social Member, please email a scanned copy of your completed form to the Woden Wanderers <a href=\"mailto:selections@wodenwandererscc.com\">Club Selector<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Pre-Season Training and Registration:<\/b>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">20 August from 11am until 2pm and 17 September\u00a0from 10:00am until 1pm at Weston Indoor Sports, Liardet St.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Regular Training:<\/b> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Starts Tuesday 4 October, and then every Tuesday from 5 pm at the Deakin (Mint) nets,\u00a0Denison St.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><b>Season Start:<span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">The Season Launch (an informal greet and meet) will take place at the Club on\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Saturday October 8 <\/span><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">at the Club House after the matches are done.
